Baby Berry

Last Sunday my Sister in Law Ande and I threw a baby shower for my other Sister in Law Bekah. Baby Berry's arrival is approaching quickly! I will be an Aunt for the first time, so excited for some newborn snuggles. I'm sure this little guy and Owen will grow up to be best buds. I'm also anxious to see how Owen likes not being the center of everyone's attention!
We hosted the shower at Medici in Uptown Normal. It was a wonderful place to have the shower, super easy. It looked very elegant and no one had to worry about making food or cleaning the house! One minor fallback was we were not expecting everyone to RSVP and also show up. Well also everyone did and a few people brought people that we did not include in the count. SO, the room was over capacity and very very crammed. Luckily, we still had plenty of food for everyone. The shower was at 2 so we just did some light appetizers and cupcakes. Everything turned out better than expected and Baby Berry got a lot of great gifts!!
Huge thanks to Megan with Expression Paperie!  She created the adorable invites, banner and cupcake toppers. She is wonderful to work with and I HIGHLY recommend her.
